15 Clean Songs that will Get Your Students Moving
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I love getting my scholars moving! I wrote a post earlier about the movement activities I use in my classroom. Freeze Dance is the most common but there are other ways we can get scholars moving in the classroom. If you haven’t read that post you can check it out here.
Today, I want to give you a list of songs that I use in my classroom. Let me tell you, Kidz Bop should be your friend! They literally make every popular song kid-friendly. However, as much as I love Kidz Bop (you’ll find a few of their songs on the list below), sometimes don’t like that it’s not the original version of the song–especially the older children. I understand their sentiment so I began a hunt to look for clean songs that the kids will love. But please, I still play Kidz Bop in my classroom very often, but when the original is appropriate I’ll let them listen to it.
At the end of this post, I’ll give you a link to my Spotify Playlist that I use in my classroom for movement activities. I wanted to make your job a bit easier so I hope that this list helps! If you have any tried and true songs that you use please feel free to share in the comment section below. I’d love to learn from you too!
