Students can create their own piece on Chrome Music Lab’s Songmaker. Just go in settings and change the scale to pentatonic.

Extension/Day 2: Have students play it on a pitched instrument (xylophone or boomwhacker)
Low Sol Melodic Sequencing

This activity is great for assessing students’ ability to hear different melodies.
Extension/Day 2: Have students practice playing these melodies. Make a full class sequence and have students perform it. You can have the full class play the whole sequence or split them into groups and have them play a specific part.
